KATHMANDU, Feb 28: Huawei has launched Mate 8 and GR5 priced at Rs 80,000 and Rs 33,999, respectively. Issuing a statement, the company said that GR5 is the latest smartphone in its G series which brings cutting edge technology.
The phone comes in premium design and sports a 5.5-inch super visual high definition screen, and 13MP front camera, among others features. On the other hand, Huawei's high-end smartphone, Mate 8, is a productivity-driven smartphone with significantly enhanced power, efficiency and battery life, according to the statement.
"The Mate 8 continues Huawei's track record of delivering high-end devices that reflect the global consumer demand and inspire loyalty in their users," the statement added.
The Mate 8 features industry first features, including the Kirin 950 chipset, 16 nm FinFET plus chip technology, and an ARM Cortex-A72 processor.
Similarly, the Mate 8 has next-generation Huawei EMUI 4.0 Android based operating system, 6-inch FHD screen with negative LCD, 16 MP rear and 8 MP front-facing camera. The dual-SIM 4G phone is powered by 4,000 mAh battery power.
