UK-based Nepali academicians hold symposium on Nepal

LONDON, April 21: Nepali academicians based in the United Kingdom (UK) have held an intellectual discourse on the recent situation of Nepal.

In a two-day intellectual symposium, Nepali professors working at various UK based universities have presented papers on various themes related to Nepal.


Organized by Britain-Nepal Academic Council, the symposium shed light on the current issues of Nepal including the effects of earthquake and reconstruction.

In the symposium, as many as 23 papers and nine posters were presented on eight various themes.

Liverpool John Moores University was the venue of the workshop.
