Shrestha also praised Pradhan for leading the organization responsibly during a difficult period and starting 'Olympic Movement' in the country.

He reiterated that the NOC is the "statutory" sports organization in Nepal having recognition from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Olympic Council of Asian (OCA).

"The executive committee will be legal for next four years," added Shrestha.
